Apple has updated its online store with the availability of the new Smart Battery case with wireless charging for iPhone 11 series. Using the smart battery case increases the device battery life by 50%. The case is made of silicon with a soft microfiber lining inside and the soft elastomer hinge design makes it easy to put the case on and take it off.
The case features a dedicated camera button that launches the Camera app whether the iPhone is locked or unlocked. A quick press of the button takes a photo and a longer press captures QuickTake video. It works for selfies, too.
Since this supports wireless charging, it is compatible with Qi-certified chargers. This can charge the iPhone and battery case simultaneously. With the Smart Battery Case on, the intelligent battery status is displayed on the iPhone Lock screen and in Notification Center. The Smart Battery Case is available for USD 129 from the Apple store and is available in Pink Sand, White, and Black colours. In India, it is yet to arrive.
