Honor Band 5 will be launching today on Flipkart. The e-commerce giant is holding it’s National Shopping Days starting today till the 10 August. The Honor Band 5 features a 0.95-inch AMOLED full-colour display which can display 45 characters. This touchscreen display uses 2.5D glass. The fitness band comes with 24-hour heart rate monitor that uses Huawei’s TruScreen 3.0 heart rate monitor using AI algorithms. The band also analyses sleep and breathe and identifies six common sleeping problems.

Honor Band 5 is also water-resistant up to 50-meters and recognises your swim strokes, mainly, freestyle, butterfly, breaststroke, and backstroke. It records swim distance, speed, and calories. The band also supports 10 common fitness modes like indoor and outdoor running, walking, cycling, free training, elliptical machine, and others.

In terms of smart features, Honor Band 5 gives message reminders, phone finder and also remote picture taking. The band supports both Android and iOS. The fitness band lasts 14 days on a single charge as per Honor. The pricing of the band has not been revealed yet, however, we feel that it would be priced around Rs. 2500 to Rs. 3000 to take on the Samsung Galaxy Fit E fitness band.

Update: The price of the Honor Band 5 is Rs. 2,599.
