OPPO launches its flagship phone Find X

June 20, 2018 By Anish Leave a Comment

For a flagship phone, the necessary ingredients are top of the line hardware, breathtaking design and innovation. OPPOs Find X delivers all of this. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, the OPPO Find X has a 6.42-inch panoramic arc screen with a screen ratio of 93.8 percent. The highlight of the phone is the sliding camera panel that houses both front and the rear cameras. It features 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel dual rear cameras. The front camera is 25-megapixel. The phone runs on Android 8.1 with Color OS 5.1 on top.

The Find X features OPPO’s O-Face facial recognition technology that uses structured light for facial identification. According to OPPO, this technology is 20x more secure than fingerprint security and is used for mobile payments. OPPO has partnered with Alibaba and offers Alipay for payment transactions.

The phone features 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage which makes it at par with current flagships like the OnePlus One. The battery is 3730mAh with SuperVOOC Flash charging technology (similar to OnePlus Dash charge).

Besides this, OPPO has also announced a partnership with Lamborghini and will also offer a special Lamborghini edition Find X. With this, OPPO is entering the European markets. The price of the phone is approximately EUR 1000. For India, OPPO has scheduled an event on 12 July, probably it would be also making the Find X available in India.
