Moto Z2 Force with shatterproof screen announced

Moto Z2 Force Edition

Expanding the Moto Z2 family, the Moto Z2 Force features ShatterShield technology that ensures that the screen of the smartphone does not break or crack if it falls or is roughed up. The specifications of the phone are pretty impressive as well. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage (can be expanded up to 2TB using microSD card). The phone also features a 5.5-inch Quad HD 1440p (1440 x 2560) POLED display with ShatterShield technology.

The phone also comes with 12-megapixel dual rear cameras, one monochrome, and one colour. Other features of the camera include, Depth detection and depth effects, Zero Shutter Lag (ZSL), Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), Laser Auto Focus, Closed loop actuator, Colour Correlated Temperature (CCT) dual LED flash and Professional mode. It can also record videos in 4K. The front camera is 5-megapixel with ƒ/2.2 aperture, Wide-Angle 85° lens, Flash, Auto Night mode, Beautification software and Professional mode.

The battery is rated at 2730mAh and supports TurboPower charging. The phone also supports Moto Mods that can enhance the functions of the phone by attaching them to the phone. The phone is priced at USD 720 and will roll out in Mexico, Brazil and various countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa starting later this summer.
