Pioneer unveils Android Auto and Apple Car Play stereo

Pioneer India Electronics launched the AVH-X8890BT car stereo that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This touch-screen car stereo features 6.95-inch WVGA display and full detachable panel. With the use of Google talk in Android Auto and Siri in Apple Car Play, users can use the speech recognition technology to control the music. This is a Bluetooth enabled stereo, that means one can pair the mobile handset to attend calls, send/receive message via voice commands. The stereo comes with the Bluetooth wired mic.

The AVH-X8890BT supports DVD-R/RW, CD-R/RW, DVD Videos, Aux, USB and SD Card. The stereo is also compatible with AppRadio Mode- iPhone/Android. Offline navigation apps like Navmii and Navitel, media, news information and the events calendar can also be accessed.

AVH-X8890BT can also be used with steering wheel control and features Dual Zone Audio Video, Bluetooth, 13 Band EQ, Time alignment, HDMI interface, Dual USB and Mixtrax.

It supports the following format for playback: WMA, MP3, AAC, WAV, FLAC, Mpeg4, WMV, H.264, JPEG, MKV, FLV. The AVH-X8890BT is priced at Rs.39,990
