
Intel’s PC-on-a-stick aka Compute Stick has started selling on Flipkart in the Indian market. The Compute Stick is an HDMI based device that attaches to a monitor or an HDTV.
It’s powered by Intel’s Quad-Core Atom processor and comes with either Windows 8.1 or Ubuntu 14.04 depending on the variant you choose. The stick comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage if you go with the Windows version or 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage in case of Linux.
Rounding up the hardware for this portable computer is Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 port and microSD card slot.
This is the second PC-on-a-stick in India after iBall announced a similar device a few days back.
The stick is priced at Rs. 9,999 but as a launch offer, the Compute Stick goes for Rs. 8,999.
