BlackBerry starts rolling out BBM Channels

BlackBerry has announced the rollout of BBM Channels to its BBM users on BlackBerry devices. BBM Channels will enable brands and small communities to interact with customers, users, listen to the feedback as well as disseminate information, share multimedia content from time to time.

Channel owners will be able to post messages, share pictures, spark discussions, post animated GIFs and chat directly with subscribers through live chat.

BBM Channels will be available to users on BlackBerry devices running BlackBerry OS 5 and above and iPhone along with Android BBM users will get the feature in the coming months.
