BIGFlix, India’s on-demand movie streaming service has surpassed a user base of 1 million users. This number is interesting because it suggests 1 million ‘registered’ users and not active subscribers, which could be less than this. Anyways, to commemorate the milestone, the Reliance-owned company (part of ADAG) is offering subscriptions worth 1 million Rupees to its subscribers, which will be rolled out via “personalised mailers” throughout May.
BIGFlix has gained a lot of traction in the past few months, thanks to a one-month subscription trial offered at Re. 1 and tie ups with companies, including Nokia to pre-load the service onto their Lumia devices.
BIGFlix is available on PC, iOS, Android and Windows Phone platforms.
