Apple has released the first iOS 5 update today for all iPhone, iPod touch and iPad owners. Admittedly, not a major update buy the iOS 5.0.1 solves the most dreaded issue – battery life. Additionally, the new update brings multitasking gestures to the original iPad, fixes bugs with Documents in the Cloud and improves voice recognition for Australian users.
Users can get the update via iTunes or over-the-air (OTA), which in fact, is a better option because it downloads just 44.6MB of required data.
