Samsung has announced three new Home Theatre Systems as part of its 2010 range for the Indian market. The Home Theatres – HT-C450, HT-C550 and HT-C555 are touted as the flagship models that will bring unmatched sound quality and aesthetics at the same time. All the systems boast a 5.1 setup but C450 (500W) and C550 (1000W) comes with four satellite speakers whereas the C555 (1000W) features “tall boy” speakers.
The Home Theatres come with BD Wise technology that tweaks to give excellent video quality (equivalent to full HD quality), Audio CD rip support, HDMI-out, MP3 Enhancer to improve MP3 playback quality and Wi-Fi ready (C555 only).
On the sound front, all the models decode Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II, DTS and supports Crystal Amp Pro, Power Bass to output a perfect audio reproduction. Additionally, the HT-C555 and HT-C550 models also have musical auto calibration program to give the best quality sound output of music tone instead of mechanical sound.
The HT-C450, HT-C550 and HT-555 are available for Rs. 12,800, Rs, 17,700 and Rs. 26,660 respectively.
