Magic Mirror developed by IconNicholson is a unique type of mirror which visualizes in real time how you look in a particular outfit without the need to wear them. It also sends a live video feed via infrared to any cell phone, PDA or e-mail of the shopper’s choice.
The chief technology head, Christopher Enright reckons that Magic Mirror would considerably take less time in shopping and the customer can shop remotely with their friends and loved ones.
The three paneled mirror comprises of a touchscreen interface on the left one which helps the customer to select the outfit and right panel to select from a wide array of shoes, accessories etc. All the selected items are put virtually on the customer which can be seen on the center mirror. The only thing customer has to do is just stand in front of the mirror and select items. Transmitting live feed would give a quick comment from your friend or loved one about how you look in that particular outfit.
