The device is known as S1 internally and will be Sony’s PlayStation Certified tablet (probably the first one). It will be a 9.4-inch Android 3.0-running tablet having a display supporting 1280×800 resolution, Tegra 2 processor inside, front and rear facing camera, USB port to host USB flash drives and other USB-equipped devices, an IR port to control Bravia TVs and a unique wrap design that tries to mimick feel of holding an open paperback book.

Sony could launch the tablet in September for $599.
