Sony will apparently be releasing their S1 or S2 tablet in Europe in about 3 months. In a “private note” sent from Sony’s marketing group shown to Engadget reveals the tablet will be up for pre-order in August followed by the shipping and retail sales in September.

Sony Direct, John Lewis and another unconfirmed retail will carry the tablet whereas other retailers are expected to sell only after Christmas holiday.

Interestingly, there isn’t a mention about the exact model number making it uncertain if the note is referring to S1 or S2 tablet.
