Sony S1 and S2 tablets

The previous leaks were right on the money. Sony has introduced two new tablets in Japan – S1 and S2. The S1 is meant for the home use and features a small curve at the top (just like in the leak) to resemble like a folded magazine. The 9.4-inch S1 is powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor and features Wi-Fi, 3G/4G support and is PlayStation Certified, which means it can play PlayStation One games on the device. Additionally, the S1 supports Sony’s Qriocity service and can act as a remote control for other Sony products.

The S2, on the other hand is similar to what we saw in the leak and features a Tegra 2 processor, 3G support and a clamshell design sporting two 5.5-inch touchscreen displays that can be transformed into one to watch a video or can act as separate displays, one for using e-mail and other for surfing the internet.

Both the tablets will be launched region-wise by fall worldwide.
