Apple holding a special event on Sep 1, new iPod touch expected

Well, well it looks like Apple is all set to steal some pre-IFA press with its own ‘special event.’ The details of the event are unknown but considering a guitar in the invite, we can safely say that it has to do something with the new iPod touch. Hopefully, we’ll also see the rumored $99 Apple TV and announcement of TV Show rental service.

Let’s just hope that rumor of a 720P only iTV is inncorrect! Heck, maybe they will even announce another carrier for the iPhone…

Looks like they did release the $99 apple tv at their special event. I still don’t get how the guitar had anything to do with it though.
