Lava, the Indian smartphone manufacturer who has been out of action has turned the heat by launching mid-market 5G smartphone powered by India’s first MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor. Successor to the Lava Agni, the Agni 2 features a 6.78-inch FHD+ curved display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display supports HDR, HDR10, HDR 10+ and Widevine L1.
Lava Agni 2 comes with 256GB of internal storage and 8GB RAM. The phone has a 4700mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging. The primary camera is 50-megapixel with segment first 1.0 micron pixel sensor. There are other two cameras as well. The front selfie camera is 16-megapixel.
Lava Agni 2 runs on Android 13 OS and the company guarantees three years of security updates and three years of OS update. Lava Agni 2 also comes with an in-display finger print sensor. Lava claims that their interface comes with no bloatware apps, notifications or Ads unlike what we have been seeing in some of the Chinese brands.
One of the highlights of Lava Agni 5G is that the company offers free phone replacement in case of any issues with the phone within the one year warranty period. This is a welcome move as recently we are witnessing lot of failures in displays and motherboards in newly purchased phones and user has to wait for a repair or replacement.
As an introduction offer, Agni 2 can be purchased at Rs. 19,999 that includes leading bank Rs.2000 discount. The phone will be available on Amazon.in starting 24th May.
