POCO X5 5G launched with 120Hz display, 48-megapixel camera & 33W charging

POCO launched another phone in the X-series, the X5 5G. Powered by Snapdragon 695 processor, the phone comes with 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB options. It features a 6.67-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED FHD+ Display. It also features 1200nits peak brightness.

POCO X5 5G comes with triple cameras. The primary camera is 48-megapixel, additionally, there is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Further, the camera features HDR, Night mode and AI scene detection. The front camera is 13-megapixel.

In terms of battery, the POCO X5 5G features a 5,000mAh battery. It supports 33W fast charging. POCO X5 5G comes with an IP53 rating, a side fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Moreover, both variant come with 5GB expandable Turbo RAM capabilities.

A downside that the POCO X5 5G has is that it runs Android 12 while most the phones now run Android 13 in this price range.

Available in two storage variants, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB and in three colours- Supernova Green, Wildcat Blue, Jaguar Black, POCO X5 5G is priced at Rs. 18,999 and Rs. 20,999, respectively. It will be available on Flipkart starting March 21, at a discount of Rs 2,000 for consumers using ICICI bank cards and an additional exchange discount of Rs. 2000 for users who are looking to upgrade their smartphone.
