Xiaomi unveils Redmi Note 7S in India

May 20, 2019 By Anish Leave a Comment

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S

Xiaomi probably has one of the busiest smartphone lineups in the Indian market but that doesn’t restrict the Chinese company to launch yet another device. The Redmi Note 7S is Xiaomi’s second 48MP phone after they launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro a few weeks back. The Redmi Note 7S is a cross between the Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro and sits right in the middle of the two Redmi Note 7s.

Design-wise, there’s very little to differentiate the Redmi Note 7S from the superior Redmi Note 7 Pro but it’s the processor, RAM and storage options that is a step down compared to the Pro variant. The Redmi Note 7S is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 processor and comes with 3GB or 4GB of RAM along with 32GB or 64GB of integrated storage. As far as other features go, the phone has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and back and comes with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ (2340×1080) display with a dot notch, 48+5MP dual camera setup, 13MP camera on the front, fingerprint sensor, Face Unlock and 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 support but comes with a 10W charger in the sales pack.

The Redmi Note 7S goes on sale from the 23rd of this month for Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB+32GB variant and Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB+64GB variant in colour options of Sapphire Blue, Ruby Red and Onyx Black. The phone will first be available on Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Homes followed by offline stores from next day.
