Acer Predator Helios 500

Acer India has launched a new Predator Helios 500 PH517-52 SKU in India with a high-quality display that will elevate the overall gaming performance on the laptop. The laptop is equipped with a 17.3-inch AmLED screen by AUO that sports UHD resolution support with a 120Hz refresh rate and full-array local dimming for improved picture quality. With 512 backlight zones, Acer claims the HDR performance on the Helios 500 with 512 backlight zones meets VESA’s DisplayHDR1000 specifications.

Needless to say, the gaming laptop has it all. It is powered by an overclockable 11th Gen Intel Core i9 processor, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU and 64 GB of DDR4 3200 MHz memory. On the storage front, Acer goes all out by integrating a pair of 2TB PCIe NVMe SSDs in RAID 0 and one 1TB SATA HDD.

Handling the cooling department is the Acer PowerGem and Vortex Flow technology. PowerGem is a custom-engineered solution made from a metal-alloy polymer that sits on top of the CPU that distributes the heat evenly. while Vortex Flow takes advantage of the two fans to redirect airflow to critical components for sustained gaming performance.

Moreover, the laptop comes with per-key RGB backlighting, DTS:X Ultra audio and a multitude of connectivity options like HDMI 2.1, mini-DP1.4, two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4, three USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, RJ45 and an Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650.

The Acer Predator Helios 500 PH517-52 is now available at Rs. 3,79,000.
