Acer India unveils TM P243 notebook

Acer has expanded its TravelMate portfolio with the addition of TM P243 notebook. Targeted at small businesses and home office users, the TM P243 boasts some decent hardware along with security features.

The notebook is powered by Intel’s latest 3rd generation Core i5 processor along with 750GB HDD, up to 8GB RAM and a GPU option of Nvidia’s GeForce GT630M. Additionally, the 14-inch notebook features an LED backlit display, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, USB 3.0 with power-off charging support, HDMI, spill-resistant keyboard and more.

On the security front, P243 is equipped with ProShield that protects the data in case of laptop theft, Backup/eRecovery Manager and Acer Officer Manager.

TM P243 pricing starts from Rs. 36,000.
