Nokia announces XR20 with military grade design to handle rough side of life

Nokia has announced the XR20 smartphone that features military-grade design and build quality. As per Nokia, this is the toughest ever Nokia phone. This 5G smartphone can survive extreme temperatures ranging from +55*C to -20*C. Another highlight of the Nokia XR20 is that it will receive four years of monthly security updates, and the latest software upgrades for up to three years.

Nokia XR20 features a 6.7-inch display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It features a 550 nits peak brightness that makes it ideal for usage in the outdoors. The screen is wet hands and gloves compatible. There is also a hole-punch camera on the screen.

Nokia XR20 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor based on the 8nm. It comes with an internal storage of 128GB and 6GB RAM. Nokia XR20 supports microSD card up to 512GB and also offers 15GB free Google Drive storage.

In terms of imaging, the Nokia XR20 features dual cameras at the rear made by ZEISS optics. It has a 48-megapixel primary lens and 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The front camera is 8-megapixel.

The phone has a 4630mAh battery and offers two-day battery life as per Nokia. It supports 15W Qi wireless charging and 18W fast charging. The phone also comes with a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Nokia XR20 will be available in Ultra Blue and Granite colour options. Available only in a single 6/128GB configuration, Nokia XR20 is priced at Rs.46,999. The smartphone will be available for pre-booking from 20-29 October, 2021 and the sales will start from 30 October, 2021. Customers who pre-book the smartphone can avail of free gifts such as a Nokia Power Earbuds Lite worth Rs. 3, 599, and One year of the screen protection plan.
