Poco announces Poco X3 with Snapdragon 732G chip

Xiaomi’s spun-off brand, Poco is expanding its product portfolio. Joining the X series is the Poco X3 that goes head-to-head against Realme’s superfast charging phone – Realme 7 Pro. The thing that Poco X3 is riding on is the inclusion of Qualcomm’s powerful 700-series processor, the Snapdragon 732G. It’s a 4G+ processor that features KryoT 470 octa-core CPU, Adreno 618 GPU and battery efficient too, making the 6000mAh battery on the Poco X3 last for more than two days.

Poco phones are geared more towards gaming, which is why the phone features LiquidCool Technology Plus technology that helps to keep the phone’s thermal temperature down by up to 6°C. It also has a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display that has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.

Moreover, the Poco X3 comes with a 64MP AI quad camera setup with 13MP wide-angle, 2MP depth and 2MP macro. On the front, there’s a single 20MP selfie camera, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 6GB RAM and storage options of 64GB and 128GB. The IP53 rated also comes with other interesting features like dual stereo speakers, aptX HD and MIUI 12 for Poco based on Android 10 that keeps ads to the minimum.

The phone will go on sale from Sep 29 starting with Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB+64GB, followed by 18,499 for 6GB+128GB and Rs. 19,999 for the 8GB+128GB. The phone will sell on Flipkart in Shadow Gray and Cobalt Blue colours.
