HMD Global has released the updated version of Nokia 2.2, the Nokia 2.3 in Egypt. This is an entry-level phone and will soon also come to India. The Nokia 2.3 features a large 6.2-inch HD display with waterdrop notch and is powered by the same processor as the Nokia 2.2, the MediaTek Helio A22. The phone comes with 32GB internal storage and has 2GB of RAM.

The phone features dual rear cameras of 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel (depth sensor), the front camera is 5-megapixel. It also comes with ‘Recommended Shot’ feature, which helps one choose the best picture as it automatically captures alternate images before and after the shutter button is pressed and suggests the best one. The camera also is AI-powered and has a portrait mode and low-light imaging.

The Nokia 2.3 features a dedicated Google Assistant button. In terms of security, the phone lacks a fingerprint sensor but can be unlocked using the face. HMD Global claims that Nokia 2.3 has a two-day 4000mAh battery life courtesy of AI-assisted adaptive battery technology. The phone comes with Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box, however, it will receive the Android 10 update in the future.

The Nokia 2.3 comes in Cyan Green, Sand, and Charcoal, and will be available mid-December starting at 109 euros (approx Rs. 8,700)

Update: Nokia 2.3 will be available for Rs. 8,199 from 27 December.
