Xiaomi launches instant personal loan platform – Mi Credit

Expanding its services to users, Xiaomi today launched its personal loan platform – Mi Credit in India. Mi Credit is available for Indian residents over 18 years and above. Loan up to Rupees 1 Lakh can be borrowed from Mi Credit.

How to apply for a loan with Mi Credit?
Step 1: Install Mi Credit app from Google Play Store and register through Mi account or phone number
Step 2: Upload KYC documents (ID & Address Proof) and add personal details for online verification
Step 3: Add bank details to facilitate transactions
Step 4: Loan amount up to ?1,00,000 is disbursed to your bank account quickly.

Xiaomi charges an interest rate of 1.35% per month. This means the annual interest rate is 16.2%. The loan can be repaid with EMIs depending on the loan amount. Besides this, there is a processing fee of 1.99% plus GST on the loan amount which is subject to change from time to time.
