realme reveals Android 10 timeline for its devices

While many smartphone manufacturers have already rolled out stable Android 10 release, realme has revealed its timeline for the Android 10 rollout which will be in the form of ColorOS 7.

The ColorOS 7 which will be Android 10 based will see customised UI and a close to stock-Android features. realme’s recent launch, its flagship phone, the X2 Pro will receive the first taste of Android 10. The beta recruitment or beta test will start from November 27 for X2 Pro owners. The ColorOS 7 Beta will be released from December 18, 2019, for realme X2 Pro. realme XT users who have already participated in the ColorOS 6.7 program will also receive ColorOS 7 updates by November end.

realme ColorOS 7 will feature a new customised UI with enhanced features. realme says that users will also experience smoother gaming graphics, better RAM management, and seamless video and vlogging experience. ColorOS 7 customisation options will include options like app icons, shape and size and font change. The ColorOS 7 will also feature a system-wide dark mode.

Android 10 stable rollout timeline for realme devices in 2020-

January – realme 3 Pro and realme XT
February – realme X and realme 5 Pro
March – realme X2 Pro
April – realme 3 and realme 3i
May – realme 5 and realme 5s
June – realme 2 Pro
Q3 2020 – realme C2
