Motorola announces E6S budget smartphone and range of Android TVs

Motorola today announced its budget smartphone, the Motorola e6s. This phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P22, octa-core, 2.0GHz processor and features 4GB RAM with 64B of internal storage. The phone also supports MicroSD card. The Motorola e6s features a 6.1-inch u-notch with HD+ display (720p). The phone has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor that is capable of clicking bokeh (portrait) photos. The front-facing camera is 8-megapixel. The phone has a 3000mAh battery and runs on Android 9 OS. The phone also has a rear fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock feature. The Motorola e6s is priced at Rs. 7,999 and will be available from 29 September on Flipkart.

Alongside the e6s, Motorola also announced its foray into Android Smart TVs. Motorola Smart TV will be available in 7 variants ranging from HD ready to UHD (4K) resolution. All the Smart TVs run on Android 9 and feature Gaming controller inside. The 32-inch screen size TV is only HD ready, meaning it has a resolution of 720p, There are two 43-inch screen, one is is Full HD (1080p) resolution and the other is UHD 4K TV. The other screen sizes in the range are 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch. The 4K range of Motorola Smart TVs are powered by Dolby vision with HDR10. They also come with a wireless AndroidTV Gamepad to play games directly on the TV. The TVs also feature Motorola’s AmphiSoundX and in-built 30W speaker with DTS TruSurround Sound. Besides this, the TVs feature all the Google related services like Google Assistant, Chromecast and more. All the UDH 4K TVs have 16GB of internal storage.

The 32-inch HD ready Smart TV is priced at Rs. 13,999. The Motorola 43-inch HD TV is priced at Rs, 24,999 and Ultra HD (4K) LED Smart Android TV (43SAUHDM) is priced at Rs. 29,999. The 50-inch UHD TV is priced at Rs. 33,999, 55-inch at Rs. 39,999 and 64-inch at Rs. 64,999.
