A major paradigm shift has been seen in the vehicle security systems and, these are in huge demand in the Indian market. Following this, recently a dash cam with GPS tracker was introduced from the house of KENT, the pioneer in RO water purifiers. Surprised? Well yes, KENT has now forayed into the automotive sector and has brought KENT CamEye, an advanced vehicle security device.

KENT CamEye is a first-of-its-kind dash cam in India that also features the capabilities of GPS tracker, thus ensuring security of your vehicle as well as the safety of the passengers.

This next-gen device uses its dual cameras to capture and record everything that happens inside and outside the vehicle. The recorded data is sent to a secure cloud system and is stored there for 90days. The GPS tracking feature helps in fetching the real-time location of the vehicle.

The device installed in cars or other vehicles remains accessible through its KENT CamEye mobile application. It can be easily downloaded in your smartphone from the Play Store or App Store. The safety of your loved ones can be ensured on your fingertips from any corner of the world. To start with the device, you just need to scan the QR code imprinted on it and then hang it on the front windshield with the help of an adhesive clamp.

The installation is not a big deal as it doesn’t require any internal wiring. It’s a simple plug and play device that adds to the convenience of using this device. It also keeps your vehicle manufacturer’s warranty intact.

Let’s see what more KENT CamEye offers:

Time-lapse video recording: Once the car comes in motion, the device automatically starts recording the time-lapse video for both the inside and outside views of the car. The video is then uploaded on a real-time basis to the secure cloud storage for 90 days to be accessed anywhere in the world.

Live video streaming: Not just video recording, you can even get to watch real-time in-car activities and things happening outside the car. This device is 4G powered and thus allows live streaming using network connectivity. So the admin can connect to the device through the app on the mobile phone and can watch the live video for either of the views.

2-way calling: The USP of this device is 2-way calling that you would hardly find in any other dash cam in India. The built-in microphone and speaker allows communication between car occupants and the device owner admin. However, it is only the admin who can place the call, and on the other end, the call is auto-connected.

Route Playback: Like a usual GPS tracker, KENT CamEye also helps in tracking the location of the vehicle on the map. But this device also offers the playback of the route travelled by vehicle. It means that in case you miss the real-time location tracking, you would still have a chance to review and refer to the recorded route.

Cloud Storage: Storage capacity is a deciding factor while choosing a dash cam as lots of trip data has to be stored. Limited storage reduces the scope of usage and needs to clear up space after a certain period. KENT CamEye has thus provided secured cloud storage making the device independent of internal memory. The data is uploaded in encrypted form with the user’s access only, and keeping it safe and secure.
