Xiaomi announces Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro

Xiaomi today announced the Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro phones. As the name suggests, out of the two, the Redmi Note 7 is the one with lower specifications. The Redmi Note 7 is powered by Qualcomm 660 processor and comes with 3GB/32GB storage or 4GB/64GB storage options. The screen size of the phone is 6.3-inch FHD+ with dot notch display. The phone screen and the rear is powered by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. There are dual-rear cameras, 12-megapixel and 2-megapixel with AI and the front camera is 13-megapixel with AI selfie. The battery in Redmi Note 7 is 4000mAh and supports 10W fast charging. Xiaomi bundles a 10W fast charger in the box. The 3GB/32GB version will retail for Rs. 9,999 and the 4GB/64GB version will retail for Rs. 11,999. The phone will be available on Mi.com, Mi Store and Mi Partner stores from 6 March 2019, 12 Noon onward.


The other phone, Redmi Note 7 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 675 processor. The phone comes in 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB options. There are dual rear cameras, 48-megapixel and 5-megaxpixel with 4KUHD recording at 30fps support, AI scene detection and AI portrait. The front camera is 13-megapixel with AI support. It features AI scene detection, AI face unlock and studio lighting selfie. The Redmi Note 7 Pro also comes with 4000mAh battery, 3.5mm headphone jack, IR remote control and type C USB port for charging. The 4GB/64GB variant of Redmi Note 7 Pro will cost Rs. 13,999 and the 6GB/128GB variant will cost Rs. 16,999. The Redmi Note 7 Pro will be available from 13 March on Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Home stores.
