Apple to continue with iPhone X design for new iPhones

August 28, 2018 By Anish Leave a Comment

We are just few weeks away from the next major iPhone release. This year it has been speculated that Apple will launch three new iPhones all based on the iPhone X design. These new iPhones will come in new colours and bigger screens.

The current iPhone X will get an upgrade with a 5.8-inch OLED screen. This new iPhone is code named D32 internally, and will feature faster processing speeds and enhanced camera.

Apple will also introduce a new cheaper iPhone based on the LCD display. This will feature a large 6.1-inch screen and will available in multiple colour options. The phones design will be based on iPhone X. This model could also possibly feature a dual-SIM support and would be launched only in selected countries, China would be one of them.

Codenamed D33, this will be the costliest high-end model of the iPhone this year. It will feature a 6.5-inch OLED display, dual cameras at the rear, glass back with support for wireless charging. In terms of software, this phone will have side-by-side app viewing, like Mail and Calendar.

All new iPhones this year will feature Face ID and gesture based controls. Besides this, new Apple watches with larger screen and new iPads will also be announced. Probably, Apple will make these announcements on 12 September 2018.
