Sony launches 5.1 channel soundbar home theatre systems

Sony announced two new 5.1 channel soundbar home theatre systems in India, the HT-S700RF and HT-S500RF. Both these home theatres feature a 1000W total output. The sub-woofer size of S700RF is 20cm and S500RF is 18cm. The rear speakers of S700RF are tallboy and that of S500RF are bookshelf type. The S700RF comes with two front and rear tweeters, whereas the S500RF comes with front two tweeters. In terms of connectivity, the home theatres support Bluetooth, HDMI, USB, Optical-in, and Analog-in.

One can also access the music via the Music Center App and can select the songs from the attached USB drive. The S700RF will be available at online and offline stores from 10th August at Rs. 37,990 and the S500RF will be available for Rs. 29,990.
