After getting success with JioPhone, Reliance Jio has announced the JioPhone 2. The JioPhone 2 is a feature phone with smart features. The screen size of the phone is 2.4QVGA, comes with 512MB RAM and 4GB of storage (can be expanded up to 128GB with microSD card). It runs on KaiOS and has 2-megapixel rear camera and VGA front-facing camera. There is a QWERTY keypad as well. The phone supports dual-SIM and also VoWi-Fi (Voice over Wi-Fi). Besides this, there is GPS, Wi-Fi, NFC and FM tuner as well.
The phone will also come with Facebook, YouTube and Whatsapp application. The previous JioPhone will also get these three applications on 15th August. The price of JioPhone 2 is Rs. 2,999. Reliance also announced Monsoon Dhamaka offer for feature phone users. In exchange of a feature phone, the JioPhone can be purchased for only Rs. 501.
