Asus launched its flagship phone, the 5z in India today. The phone will be exclusively sold on Flipkart. The 5z features Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB/8GB RAM and storage options of 64GB/128GB/256GB. It also supports microSD card up to 2TB. The screen size of the phone is 6.2-inch and features 90% screen-to-body ratio.
In terms of imaging, the cameras are Sony IMX363 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel dual-pixel image sensor – 1/2.55″ large sensor size, 1.4µm large pixel size. There is also AI photography with screen detection. The front camera is 8-megapixel. It features 4K video recording, slow-motion videos at 240 fps and also Zenimoji – Live emojis.
The battery is 3300mAh and supports fast charging, it also has AI and scheduled charging for battery protection. The phone runs on Android Oreo with Zen UI 5. The fingerprint sensor is at the rear and supports face unlock.
The phone will be probably bundled with ASUS ZenEar Pro Hi-Res earphone with microphone, Type-C USB cable, Ejector pin (SIM tray needle), USB Power Adapter, Documentation user guide, warranty card and clear soft bumper. The 6GB/64GB option will retail for Rs. 29,999, the 6GB/128GB will go for Rs. 32,999 and the top of the line, the 8GB/256GB variant is priced at Rs. 36,999.
