Gionee launched the X1 smartphone powered by Mediatek 6737 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage (expandable to 256GB) and 5-inch HD screen. The X1 also features a fingerprint sensor at the rear just below the 8-megapixel rear camera that also acts as a selfie camera shutter button. The phone also features an 8-megapixel front camera and comes with 3000mAh battery.
The phone features two dedicated SIM slots and one microSD card slot. Gionee X1 runs on Amigo 4.0 UI based on Android 7.0. The phone will be available in Black and Gold colours and will retail for Rs. 8,999 in offline stores.
Gionee has partnered with Airtel and PayTm to announce two offers. New or existing Airtel Customers who purchase X1 will get additional 10GB data per month for 6 successive recharges. Also, every purchase of Gionee X1 will be accompanied with 2 PayTM cash back voucher codes entitling customers with Rs. 250 cash back on a minimum purchase of Rs. 350 on PayTm Mall.
