The hit organised crime series will be back later this year as 2K and Hangar 13 have announced the Mafia III. The game will make its way to retail shelves from Oct 7 and will be available on three platforms – PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Set in 1968 New Bordeaux – a reimagined version of New Orleans – you’ll play a Vietnam veteran Lincoln Clay whose surrogate family was wiped out by the Italian Mafia. You’re role will be to avenge those deaths and build our own gang from scratch to take down the mighty Italians.
Mafia III will be available in standard, limited deluxe and limited collector’s editions and pre-ordering the game will get you a Family Kick-Back, which includes three exclusive lieutenant-themed vehicle and weapon gifts.
The Mafia III Deluxe Edition includes both the game and access to additional, post-release downloadable content. The limited Mafia III Collector’s Edition is packed with physical and digital items, including all content found in the Mafia III Deluxe Edition plus the original game score on vinyl, a collectible art book, art prints and more.
