Mi Powerbank Pro boasts 10000mAh capacity, USB Type-C charging

Xiaomi shook up the power bank market when they launched a highly affordable 10000mAh battery pack. Now the company is back with the Mi Powerbank Pro that boasts the same capacity but packs in some special tricks up its sleeve.

The 10000mAh Mi Powerbank Pro now supports USB Type-C charging, which the Mi 5 and other supported gadgets can take advantage of. The 18W of input ensures the Powerbank Pro charges from 0-100 in 3.5 hours and even manages to recharge other devices at a faster rate.

Xiaomi has also integrated support for low voltage devices like the Mi Band or the bluetooth earphone and comes with USB smart-control and 9-layers of circuit chip protection to protect the charging devices so as to not fry them.

There’s no information when Mi Powerbank Pro will be available in the Indian market but it will sell in China for 149 yuan (US$22).
