Letv Le Max Pro is the first Snapdragon 820 powered smartphone

January 6, 2016 By Anish Leave a Comment

Le Max Pro

The Le Max Pro becomes the first Snapdragon 820 powered smartphone that was announced at CES 2016. Expected to be available in the first half of 2016, the Le Max Pro is the first phone to feature the Snapdragon 820 processor including Qualcomm Snapdragon Sense ID fingerprint technology with liveness detection.

With the integrated X12 LTE modem, Max Pro users can enjoy download speeds up to 600 Mbps, and multi-gigabit 802.11ad Wi-Fi. The Le Max Pro also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology and can go from 0 to 60 percent charge in half an hour.

The Le Max Pro will be the first commercial device with Snapdragon Sense ID fingerprint technology. Snapdragon Sense ID fingerprint technology is engineered to protect users’ biometric information and device data. Biometric data never leaves the device thanks to Snapdragon on-device design approach. So it’s not vulnerable to interception or server attacks, unlike passwords.

Although the phone has not been launched yet, we can only speculate the specifications of the Max Pro that was leaked in November. The specs go as 5.5inch 2K display, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 21-megapixel main camera and Android 6.0.
