Review: STK 3-in-1 Power Bank

There’s no dearth of power bank options for consumers today and joining the long list is STK’s Soap 3-in-1 power bank. Why Soap? Because it looks like one!

The design of the power bank is somewhat unique and features a clean look with all the cables hidden beneath the plastic case. Couple of things that you’ll find on the outside are the battery life indicator and the charge indicator. The cables hidden beneath the case is what makes this STK offering different.

stk-1

The battery pack comes with Apple’s Lightning cable, older 30-pin connector, microUSB cable and a regular USB port that can be used for charging the power bank.

The power bank can connect up to two devices at once and it worked flawlessly when we connected a Windows Phone device and an iPhone. However, one thing we noticed that you cannot charge two iPhones at once. Another issue we faced was the length of the cable, which is very short as it made cumbersome when multiple devices were attached.

You can even check the remaining battery juice of the battery pack by clicking the power voltage button once or change the power from 0.5A to 1A by tapping it twice.

stk-2

To wrap things up, we would say the power bank’s 4000mAh rated capacity is decent enough to offer a single charge to two devices or couple of charges when you attach an iPhone. The charge time of the power bank is around 6 hours, which we hope could be better.

It retails on Amazon.in for Rs. 3,299.
