SanDisk has announced a new flash storage solution that will enable iOS users to expand their storage memory. The iXpand is a USB flash drive that is designed specifically for the iPhone and the iPad.
Think of iXpand as an OTG drive for iOS devices that allows users to sync photos and videos from their devices to iXpand or play content directly from the iXpand onto the device. iXpand with the help of iXpand sync app allows playing video content of popular formats like AVI, WMV without having to go through the hassle of converting them.
iXpand is equipped with a regular USB port as well as a Lightning port to connect to iOS devices. It supports cross-platform encryption that enables password protection of important files.
The iXpand Flash Drive is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB at a price of Rs. 4,490, Rs. 5,990 and Rs. 7,990 respectively.
