Skype has released Skype WiFi app that will enable iOS device owners to quickly find a wireless hotspot. Uniqueness of this app is that users can scan over 1 million Wi-Fi hotspots around the world to access the internet and get billed with the available Skype Credit.
Another advantage of using Skype WiFi is that a user gets billed for the number of minutes they use and not as per the data transferred. The price for accessing Wi-Fi through Skype is US$0.06 and to give consumers a taste of the service, Skype WiFi will be free worldwide from August 20 to August 21 for a maximum period of 60 minutes.
