Toshiba has announced a new range of LED TVs in India that are powered by Android 4.4 OS. The L9450 series (Ultra HD 4K) and L5400 series (HD & Full HD) TVs run Android KitKat that enables users to download games, music, movies from the Google Play Store and even supports Miracast for wireless screen mirroring.
On the TV picture quality side of things, the L9450 series features CEVO 4K image processing engine for improved picture quality and other things like Active Motion & Resolution Plus 3100 to reduce motion blur, High Dynamic Range (HDR) restoration technology, Intelligent Scene Optimiser to adjust the screen setting automatically and Intelligent Auto View that adjusts light according to the ambient light conditions. The 4K TV range starts from Rs. 1,99,000 and goes up to Rs. 10,49,000.
The L5400 series comes with CEVO Engine Premium with dual-core GPU, 10-bit video processing, Contrast Booster, Intelligent Scene Optimiser and more. The L5400 TV series pricing starts from Rs. 38,990 and goes up to Rs. 1,29,990.
