International Voice Calls now enabled in Hangouts for Indian users

Enterprising Google users have been using the free voice calling service in India for quite some time but if you’ve not been able to do so and want it the easy way, Google today flipped the switch for Indian Hangout users. Users in India can now place free calls to US and Canada numbers whereas can call other country numbers for cheap.

Android users need to download the Hangouts Dialer app to take advantage whereas iOS users will need to download the Hangouts app. Web users will have the feature enabled the next time they open the app.

Do note, Google is also giving the first minute of calling to premium countries for free if users add credit to their account.
