Sony launches high-speed UZ Series SD cards in India

Sony has launched its new Ultra High Speed SD card UZ series in the Indian market. Targeted at professional and semi-professional photographers and videographers, the UZ series cards boast a high-speed data transfer of 95MB/s (read) and 90MB/s (write) coupled with UHS Speed Class 3 rating, which Sony assures is perfect for recording 4K content. Faster data transfer also means minimal buffering while capturing burst, multi-frame or panoramic shots.

Furthermore, the card is equipped with Sony File Rescue software that allows users to recover accidentally deleted content and are protected with molded resin for enhanced durability.

Sony will sell the UZ Series cards in 32GB and 64GB capacities for Rs. 5,339 and Rs. 9,942 respectively.
