Sony announces 2TB HDD aimed at professionals

Sony has expanded its external hard drive lineup with PSZ-HA2T HDD. The hard drive is targeted at professionals that comes with a storage capacity of 2TB and supports USB 3.0 as well as FireWire 800 interface that claim to give a transfer speed of up to 120MB/s.

Moreover, the drive adheres to P5X and IPX4 standard for resistance against dust and water and comes pre-installed with a formatting software that makes it easy for the drive to be configured as NTFS, FAT32 or HFS+.

The PSZ-HA2T will be available in India from this month for Rs. 16,706.
