New Razer Blade boasts QHD+ display

Razer today announced their latest gaming laptop that literally puts every other laptop to shame. The 14-inch Razer Blade now comes with a QHD+ display resolution support (3200×1800 pixels) and touchscreen support.

The display uses IGZO/IPS display panel, which according to Razer is 250 percent increase in contrast ratio and higher brightness for outdoor use.

Since it’s a gaming laptop, the Razer Blade is expectedly packed with meaty hardware like 4th Gen Intel Core i7-4702HQ quad-core processor, 8GB DDR3 RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 870M with 3GB GDDR5 and Windows 8.1.

The all-aluminum Razer Blade is also equipped with a 128GB SSD (256GB and 512GB optional), Intel Wireless 802.11ac, USB 3.0 ports, Dolby Sigital Plus and up to 6 hours of battery life.

The Razer Blade is now on pre-order for $2,199 with shipment expected in early April.
