Sony QX100 and QX10 lens-style smartphone accessories get official

As rumoured, Sony announced their lens-style camera accessories for smartphones. The lenses when clipped to a smartphone, will transform it into a compact camera. The accessory works with any Android or an iOS device and connects with them over Wi-Fi or uses NFC for one-touch connection. Both lenses are equipped with high-quality Exmor R CMOS sensors and uses BIONZ imaging processor. Furthermore, these lenses are equipped with a built-in memory card slot and a rechargeable battery.

These lenses will be available from this month and are priced at £179.00 (QX10) and £399.00 (QX100) in UK.
