Asus India launches RT-A68U dual-band 802.11ac Router

Asus RT-A68U Router

802.11ac routers are still a rarity in India but Asus has launched the RT-A68U that offers transfer rate of 1900Mbit/s. The RT-A68U is touted as the world’s first dual-band 802.11ac router that offers 600Mbit/s on 2.4GHz band and is about 33 percent faster than regular Wi-Fi routers.

The router is equipped with Asus’ technology like AiRadar support that uses beam forming for a stronger Wi-Fi connection and AiCloud support. AiCloud when coupled with a USB port, it allows users to remotely sync, share, stream content located on connected USB storage from any location and even download content.

The router is priced at Rs. 21,500.
