Asus India has launched a new router RT-N14U targeted at home users. Clad in glossy and textured black diamond finish, Asus says the finish was restricted to high-end routers earlier but it’s the first time a sub-5k router has got the same design treatment.
It’s a 802.11n router that offers a speed of up to 300Mb/s and packs in a USB 2.0 port that allows users to attach any external storage, printers or even use a USB internet dongle. Additionally, the router comes with a ASUSWRT interface that sports an easy-to-use user interface, Download Master that can download content directly to the router-attached USB storage and AiCloud support that brings complete cloud access allowing users to sync, share, stream and access content located on connected USB storage from any location.
Asus will sell the RT-N14U for Rs. 4,500 and will come with a 3-year warranty.
