Asus reveals Rs. 9,999 7-inch MeMO Pad for India

First it was Acer with its Iconia Tab B1 and the latest multinational to break into the sub-10k tablet market in India is Asus with the ME172V MeMO Pad. Priced at just Rs. 9,999, the MeMO Pad tries to give a decent Android experience without breaking the bank.

The 358g tablet comes in colour choices of white, grey or pink with non-slip diamond-patterned finish and runs Android 4.1 OS. Powering the tablet is VIA’s WM 8950 1GHz processor and 1GB RAM and comes with a 7-inch 1024×600 display, 8GB internal memory, Wi-Fi, front-facing 1MP camera, microSD card slot and 4270mAh battery that lasts up to 7 hours.
