Asus launches Nexus 7 (2013) in India

The latest Nexus 7 (2013) is readily available on the Google Play Store but if you are looking to pick up from another retailer or from mom and pop stores, Asus has announced the availability of the tablet. The 2013 Edition of the Nexus 7 packs in superior hardware like a high resolution 1920×1200 7-inch display, 2GB RAM, 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 5MP rear-facing and 1.2MP front-facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, 3G and even LTE (which won’t work in India though).

Normal retail channel will sell the 16GB Wi-Fi-only Nexus 7 for Rs. 20,999 and LTE variant 32GB for Rs. 27,999. Interestingly, the prices are the same in the Play Store unlike the Rs. 1,000 premium for Nexus 5 when you buy from a retail store compared to the Google Play Store.
