Samsung had promised some interesting displays at the FPD International in Japan and here they are with a 7-inch AMOLED screen and a super slim 1.8mm thick 10.1-inch LCD.
We still don’t have the full technical specifications of the 7-inch AMOLED display but we do know that it will support WSVGA resolution (1024×600). Current-generation’s Galaxy Tab sports the same resolution so it would be logical to think that the next-gen 7-inch tablet will have an AMOLED screen.

Samsung also showed a 1.8mm thick 10.1-inch LCD using plastic substrate. The screen supports WSVGA resolution and has a brightness of 250cd/m2 and contrast ratio of 1000:1. Samsung plans to commercialize the panel within couple of years and will be used in netbooks and apparently, on a larger-sized Galaxy Tab.
